The USA can let go of PEPFAR

President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief

If there is at least one good issue to come out of the United State’s recent senate hearing on the bilateral relations with South Africa, then it is a review of PEPFAR.

The republicans are right for asking if they should continue this program that is officially branded “to combat AIDS” in Africa. In practice PEPFAR was never about AIDS or Africans, it was just a money laundering scheme for George W. Bush’s friends in the pharmaceutical industry, and notably the virologists and medical science experts that scared us into the Covid19 pandemic. As I detailed in my Biznews Article on AIDS, the scientists that profiteered of the aids and covid19 pandemics, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, were often the same by name.

None of the deadly predictions of AIDS deaths ever came true and claims that President Thabo Mbeki killed 250 000 South Africans never passed scrutiny, as Rian Malan and Dr. Charles Geschekter showed in dependently. In fact the two most prominent people that questioned HIV/AIDS hypothesis was Luc Montagnier, the discoverer of the virus and Karry Mullis, the discoverer of PCR. Both Nobel Prize recipients for HIV and AIDS. When they started speaking out against the “deadly disease”, they were smeared in the media as having suffered from “noble disease”.

During the Apartheid years the South African government kept separate death certificates for the black population, because many of them were classified as citizens of their “homelands”. After the Mandela government consolidated the data sets, it created the “illusion” of deaths that showed a 250 000 excess death hump in the South African death certificates, and this is the number that is often cited as the consequence of Mbeki’s “AIDS Denialism”.

But it never passed basic common sense, because The Medical Research Council’s death statistics at one stage showed more people dying of AIDS than Statistics South Africa could count death certificates.

The entire issue was absurd. All of the detail are in Mbeki’s Presidential Advisory Report on HIV/AIDS and notably in the Appendices. Unfortunately the media will never give the issue proper coverage, because it would result in providing President Mbeki with the biggest apology in South Africa’s history and one of the largest humiliations of the medical establishment.

Despite the predictions of doom and gloom, South Africa’s population kept on growing, as if there never was a pandemic to begin with, and given our fertility rate, we didn’t stop having sex either.

But to save us and their own taxpayers from the agony of the billions of dollars in sunken cost that they spent over the years to manufacture a vaccine for an unproven hypothesis, I appeal to my American friends and audience.

Please stop the program.

Write to your congress and end PEPFAR, because in the words of Dr. Karry Mullis, the discoverer of PCR.

“The only way to stop HIV/AIDS, is to stop funding it”.
